Since our hotel was in Jimbaran, we decided to walk down to the beach for some touristy seafood dinner. In my mind, we'd watch the sunset and devour shellfish while the waves licked our feet. This did not happen. We arrived too early for the sunset and finished our dinner before the sun actually set. We dithered around a lot deciding on a restaurant to eat at because there were just so many and we didn't know which ones were any good. The food was good but slightly overpriced. It was still very beautiful though, and the only thing missing was my feet sinking into wet sand and gentle lapping waves.
